Misfit

Ich habe mir das Buch extra gekauft, damit es zum zweiten Teil passt. Heute ist es angekommen und leider nicht so, wie abgebildet. Das ist schade. Der Inhalt wird dadurch nicht weniger schlecht, trotzdem hätte ich es gerne einheitlich gehabt.

I really like the Avalon Bay Series by Elle Kennedy and wanted to read something else and therefore grabbed my copy of Misfit and finally read it. This book is set at the boarding school Sandover Prep and we follow five different characters and get all of their povs.   There’s RJ who is the newest student at the school. His mom married Fenn‘s father and he must go where his stepbrother is. RJ is a hacker and that gives you such a unique perspective as he can literally find out everything. He appears rather anti-social at first, but over the course of the book that changes, and he falls in love with a girl.   Fenn grew up under horrible circumstances and he just wants to be loved. I totally felt for him and loved seeing him getting a brother and his friendship with Casey. But he has some secrets of his own and what was revealed at the end blew my mind and I can’t wait to see what that’s all about.   Then there is Sloane who is the daughter of the headmaster and therefore forbidden to boys. But she is secretly a bad girl who is very much interested into boys. That was intriguing to see, and I really loved following her relationship with RJ. Her sister Casey is also amazing.   Then there is Lawson who deals with everything in a sexual way, and he manages to seduce not one but two teachers. The more you learn about him the more depth he gets, and he definitely surprised me from time to time.   Silas is a rather inconspicuous one. He is a good friend and I’m excited to see more of him in the next book.   This book is just very entertaining and there are a lot of secrets and things happening that kept me engaged the whole time. The blend of characters was amazing as well and I think this book is totally underrated and just amazing. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend checking this book out. 5 stars.
