To be able to discuss her ideas and opinions on the weather with other people, she invents a clever disguise: A male persona. Of course this causes trouble of all sorts, but Neva is clever and has people around her, who would do anything to protect her. In this novel, the good guys get a happy ending, the bad guys either aren't that bad and get a happy ending too, or they deserve their fate. Still it’s not too cheesy, it’s rather wholesome and sweet and romantic. If you love regency england and want to read something slightly different from the typical Bridgerton scenery but don’t want to miss some romantic scenes, this is the right book for you!
