Half a Soul Howl's Moving Castle meets Bridgerton in this cosy Regency fantasy romance

This book has such a great story - partly dreamy but also considers darker themes which were explored in a great way. Reading it, transported me right into that world. The entire series was a delightful surprise. The series exceeded my expectations when I read it and has become one of my favourite books.

Half a Soul took me by surprise, and I must say, it was a delightful discovery. As I delved into its pages, I found myself pleasantly immersed in a light and enjoyable read that offered a unique and clever portrayal of the main character. What stood out to me the most was the author's skillful handling of the main character's portrayal. The way their personality was developed and presented felt refreshing and far from the typical literary clichés. Throughout the book, the author's storytelling prowess shone brightly. The narrative flowed smoothly, allowing me to easily follow the protagonist's thoughts and emotions as they embarked on their journey. Furthermore, the book succeeded in striking the perfect balance between being lighthearted and having depth. While it had moments of levity and charm, it also touched upon thought-provoking themes, leaving a lasting impression on my mind. The ending took me by surprise, but it felt real and I can accept the way the book ended.
