Heat exchangers are the most widely used process equipment found in industrial sector. Considering the present day global economic scenario, it has become mandatory to save the space, energy and material for minimizing the cost and physical size of a heat exchanger for a specified heat duty. Thus, heat transfer enhancement becomes an important aspect to ensure energy efficiency.
