Julia Whelan delivers narration, story and character GOLD
The chemistry, the set-up, the emotional through-line of the relationships - not only between the two romantic leads - but between best friends, parents and grandparents. I loved every part of it and I'm happy to say I really liked where it ended and what it did in the meantime. I laughed, I squealed with joy, I cried. The tongue-in-cheek commentary about audiobooks and audiobook listeners? I cackled with laughter when Swan and Brock talk about how performance doesn't matter (it does) because listeners hear it at triple speed? I felt called out! For anyone who likes audiobooks I highly recommend this one. And all those who don‘t - just read it by yourself and find out what endeared me to these amazing characters and storylines 10/10 wonderful.
