Daughters of Night

After reading The Square of Seven and Blood and Sugar, I had very high expectations for this one, which hasn’t disappointed me. The story comes across as logical and the characters are convincing. It’s again a fully packed plot that doesn’t give away any hints along the way. You are left guessing who might be responsible, hooked enough that you want to read more. The many characters involved may be confusing initially, but the surprising solution makes up for it. I found the end satisfactory, I only had a completely different view of who the murderer was. The author has deceived me once again in a positive way. I hope to read more about her in the future.

Sehr spannend und gut geschrieben. Die Hauptfiguren sind überzeugend. Das ist eigentlich das 2. Buch, aber es ist nicht unbedingt nötig, das erste gelesen zu haben, um die Erzählung zu verstehen
