Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation 1: Mo Dao Zu Shi (Novel) announced Aug

This first volume of the novel series is the perfect start. Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's writing style is absolutely amazing. She captures the characters' emotions, the scenery and the cultural backrounds perfectly, in a way that just makes you want to read all 5 books in one go. And I can promise you, the other 4 books keep this level of writing. She's a great author and the strory is great and makes you not want to think of anything else. The book also contains a character and name guide, as well as a glossary, where you can check the backstories once again, can get translations of some words and cultural backrounds. For example, she uses "one incense time" to refer to time passed and in the glossary it's explained as "half an hour". Beautiful. Great. Wow.

Ein richtig gutes Buch, wirklich empfehlenswert. Sehr guter mix an fantasy, action, romance und mystery, die Charaktere sind auch sehr gut geschrieben und die Story ist auch sehr interessant.

I was hooked on the Cdrama series „The Untamed“ , the animation and manwha before I eventually bought the light novel GMDC. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the books. The original plot is interesting and I especially like the fighting scene described vividly in the Yi City(Volume 2). The romance(& flirting) is delightful and endearing. I like fantasy genre packed with action and romance. IMO, GMDC seems to have it all.

diese Geschichte kann ich absolut empfehlen. ich liebe einfach die Geschichte und die Charakter. ich muss auch zugeben ganz am Anfang hatte ich mit den Namen und allem auch Schwierigkeiten, es hat sich für mich aber trotzdem gelohnt sich da reinzulesen. ich würde allen empfehlen dieses Buch in Englisch zu lesen, und nicht die deutsche Fassung. außer dass ich die englische besser liest, ist in der englischen auch viel mehr enthalten. z.B sind in der englischen einzelne Bilder der Szenen enthalten. in der deutschen sind diese nicht enthalten.

I really enjoyed reading this novel! The author just has the right mixture of elements that make tihs novel so damn good. On one hand its filled with action and blood, on the othe with love and funny moments. The main character is both a badass yet also a dumbass that jokes around whenever he gets the chance to but still manages to stay serious when the situation demands it. The only thing I find a bit hard is to keep up with all the different names, surnames and courtesy names but you get used to it while reading more and there is also a glossary at the end of the novel that helps with keeping in mind who is who and who has what status etc. So looking forward to the following novels and every other novel of that author!
