Step into Wyoming as it was recorded, argued over, and preserved in real time. History lives in the margins. Proceedings And Collections Of The Wyoming Historical And Geological Society For The Year 1918 (Volume XVI), attributed to Christopher Wren, gathers the work of a learned community into a local history journal with the immediacy of historical society proceedings. Within this complete annual volume, you will find a disciplined archival primary source collection: wyoming history essays alongside regional geology studies, with the texture of meetings, papers, and records that keep a young state speaking in its own voice. As 1918 wyoming history, the book captures a pivotal moment in the rocky mountain region, when memory of settlement was still close enough to interview, yet distant enough to analyse. Readers drawn to american west regional history will value its pioneer era biographies, civic recollections, and the naming of places and people that vanish from later surveys. For family historians, it serves as a steady genealogy research reference; for students and curators, an academic library reference that anchors collections with original scholarship and documentation. It is also simply a satisfying browse: concise pieces, varied subjects, and the pleasure of serious local inquiry. For collectors of Western Americana, it offers a record of communities curating knowledge before the digital age. Republished by Alpha Editions in a careful modern edition, this volume preserves the spirit of the original while making it effortless to enjoy today -- a heritage title prepared for readers and collectors alike.
