I can't describe how hyped I am about this release. Lupin the Third is an anime, so dear to my heart, I am literally overwhelmed. And thankfully, since 2019, one of the oldest anime series has finally arrived in Germany (or came back to Germany) in the form of a highly anticipated 3D movie, "Lupin III: The First". And now, we even get a 'Best Of' of Lupin's shenanigans, originally drawn by the late Monkey Punch.  But I do have to give a fair warning, Lupin the Third was first invented and drawn in a time where mysogynistic and questionable behaviour weren't as socially condemned as they are now. By no means am I implying that this is filth and shouldn't be read. As I mentioned, I am a huge fan of the series, and even though the plot is sometimes weird and hard to follow, I can't stop loving these goofballs. But I am saying that this is a product of its time and should be read with this in mind.  Anyhow, I can't wait to hold this masterpiece in my hands and even if I've already read the 'Greatest Heists' in their original books, I can't wait to dive into this weird but lovely world of Lupin III.
