My first thought when I found out the book existed was "Can it be any good?". Stranger Things without a Mystery? Plus we know from the show that Robin doesn't get a girlfriend in this one either? Turns out it is absolutely amazing. Even if it's more of a slice of life (which I rarely ever read), it's giving Robins character so much more depth. And yes, the french-horn/trumpet-problem is a bit annoying (she plays french horn in the book, but trumpet in the series. So it's not 100% canon), but aside from that it has a great story and is full of references to the show. So … if you love Stranger Things and at least like Robin, you should really give this book a try!
