Those Who Know

"Those Who Know" by Alis Hawkins has been recommended to me by the lovely Victoria Book Shop in Haverfordwest. I asked for a crime novel to reminisce my holidays in Wales and that is exactly what I got out of the book! It's nature and historic villages are described beautifully. And the characters carry a feel of Welsh culture with them. I particularly enjoyed the way Hawkins described the way soceity treated disabled people in the past. The mystery didn't have me sit at the edge of my chair and I didn't finish "Those Who Know" in a single sitting, but it was a gripping, interesting read that makes me want to dive into her other books as well. Would recommend!
