A dark twisted story about the question if witches and ghosts are real. All of this in the setting of a boarding school, with unreliable characters and a lot of books. A page turning novel that makes you want to read on and on, with an ending that leaves you speachless.

This book absolutely blew me away – it was so good that I ended up in tears at the end (': From the very first pages, I knew I was going to love it, and I was right. I finished it within just a few days because I simply couldn’t stop reading. I was so deeply absorbed in the story and lost in my thoughts that I didn’t even notice what was happening around me. The story itself was incredibly powerful and beautifully written.
⚠️ SPOILER ALERT
What truly broke me was the ending, when I realized Ellis had to die and there was no happy ending. Felicity and Ellis loved each other, yet she still passed away. I honestly didn’t expect that – I had hoped that in the final chapter there would be something like: “I looked back and saw her… Ellis… still alive.” But sadly, that wasn’t the case. It was heartbreaking, because I wished they could have had a happy life together.
Still, without a doubt, this is a five-star book. I will never foget it.
