I've enjoyed my two previous visits to Primrose Farm, and was of course curious what else will happen with Tom & Rachel and the rest of the family. The two lovebirds are just about to tie the knot, and some problems arise along the way. But nothing that cannot be solved, this is a very 'cosy chick-lit' so to say. Everyone is overly polite and endearing, pet names (and I'm not talking about the animals on the farm) in every other sentence and constantly thanking someone - all that irked me a bit because it seems to outdated and most of all way overdone here. I imagined the author to be a woman way past her middle age. But according to the short bio and photo you can find online she is not. However, I like the characters and their story, therefore I'll probably continue to read this series. I just would appreciate some freshness, some humorous quips or something here and there.
