    Crier’s War is the story of Ayla, a human servant of the Automae—a race of artificial humans that have become the ruling class. After her family is murdered by Automae, Ayla plans to kill the sovereign’s daughter, Lady Crier. When a chance encounter sees her becoming Lady Crier’s maid, Ayla thinks she’ll finally be able to take her revenge. Crier, though, isn’t what Ayla expected. Sweet, gentle, innocent Lady Crier isn’t the monster Ayla has always imagined, but how can she justify loving the daughter of the creature that killed her family? A fantastical story about a girl torn between love and revenge. One of my personal favorites.

    Ein so tolles Buch

    Ich fand das Buch richtig gut. Ich hab es in 3 Tagen durchgelesen. Die Story ist gut und ich liebe den schreibstyle. Das Cover ist richtig schön. Ich freue mich schon auf den zweiten Teil. Sehr empfehlenswert.

    A great sapphic sci-fi novel

    Automae are ruling the world and humans are their servants in this sprawling futuristic fantasy novel. Crier is the young Automae princess, who in her growing curiousity discovers a dangerous secret, all while falling hard for her human maid Ayla. But Ayla has sworn revenge against the Automae who have killed her family and Crier is her first target. This really is the perfect enemies to lovers trope Ive read in a while. A must read!!!

    eine Geschichte, die berührt

    Mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen, da es trotz der harten Welt und ihrer Konflikte eine sehr zarte Seite hat. Die Charaktere sind sehr sympathisch und man kann einen guten Draht zu ihnen aufbauen, die Erzählgeschwindigkeit ist genau richtig und das Worldbuilding ist klasse. Das Setting ist mal was erfrischend Neues, eine Mischung aus Sci-Fi und Fantasy. Selbst wenn es nicht ganz für die Favoritenriege reicht, ist das Buch auf jeden Fall gute Unterhaltung, die Lust auf mehr macht.

    This book is unmatched! THE sapphic...

    This book is unmatched! THE sapphic enemies to lovers book, with soo much tension and an interesting plot. I love how being queer isn't a main part of the story - it's just something totally normal, which I think is very good. The writing is awesome too, I strongly recommend this
