Its undeniable that Kikis Delivery Service is a kids book which might keep people from giving it a chance. But this book is so full of magic and wonderful funny characters that I think people of any age can enjoy Kikis and Jijis adventures. I loved it and really enjoyed Eiko Kadonos beautiful form of writing. This edition also includes adorable illustrations and some extras about the author. Perfect for any fan!

My children love the movie adaptation by Studio Ghibli, especially my son. Touched by his interest in a story with a female protagonist, I bought this book so he could read it during our read-aloud time. So far he is enjoying it and it is easy to read for a 4th grader (fluent in English).
