Nicholas knows he has to stay focused on his upcoming match, because the Grinder is going to try to kill him. But there's a pretty blue-eyed girl named Hattie, and Hatcher can't get those blue eyes out of his mind.

Alice has a secret - a secret that not even Hatcher knows yet. Pretty soon her secret's going to show, but she wants their baby all to herself for a little while longer. Then Alice and Hatcher end up in a town that they can't seem to escape - a town run by a woman who loves children... and hates Magicians.

Zwei der vier Geschichten handeln davon, wie es bei Alice nach den ersten beiden Büchern (Alice & The Red Queen) weitergeht. Die anderen beiden Handlungen in dem Buch sind ebenfalls sehr spannend und düster. In ihnen erfährt man nebenbei auch sehr viel über die Stadt, aus der Alice kommt, was auf jeden Fall ein Bonus ist ;)

ich bin absolut begeistert. ich bin normalerweise nicht so der Typ für Kurzgeschichten, aber ich war bereits so durch die ersten beiden Alice-Bände in den Bann gezogen, dass ich unbedingt mehr von Alice lesen wollte. Und ich bin froh, dass ich mich dazu motiviert habe, Looking glass zu lesen, denn es ist ein wundervoller Abschluss, es gibt einem weitere interessante Infos und einen etwas neuen Blick auf den ein oder anderen Charakter. ich kann es auf jeden Fall nur empfehlen
