The book was heartbreaking and beautiful. I'm glad I gave it a chance since I read his other book and didn't really like the way it was written.
I wish it was longer to be honest so we could stay with the characters longer, but I guess the shortness of it is the reason why it's so gut-wrenching in the end.

Ein wunderschöner Coming-of-age Roman über die erste Liebe.
Der Autor hat das Buch in einem so poetischen und bezaubernden Schreibstil geschrieben, dass man gefühlt jeden zweiten Satz markieren möchte.
Bsp.: "This feeling of love, it transports me, it makes me happy. But it also consumes me and makes me miserable, the way all impossible loves are miserable."
