“No longer Human” von Junji Ito basiert auf dem letzten Roman von dem japanischen Autor Osamu Dazai. Das Original wurde 1 Monat nach Dazai’s Suizid veröffentlicht und beinhaltet komplexe Themen wie zum Beispiel Suizid und sexuelle Gewalt. Ito hat Dazai’s Geschichte sehr gut bildlich widergegeben und seine eigenen typischen Horrorelemente eingebaut.

Gewaltig!
No Longer Human zählt zu den Klassikern der japanischen Literatur und ich könnte mir keinen besseren als Junji Ito vorstellen, um diesen zu Zeichnen. Gruselig, tiefsinnig und emotional und sicherlich nicht auf einmal zu bewältigen.
