Ich habe die Story wirklich genossen. An manchen Stellen war ich richtig drin und an anderen wiederum so gar nicht. Dieses Buch hat viele sehr unnötige (zumindest für die Weiterführung der Handlung) Monologe, was es mir etwas schwer gemacht hat, wirklich in der Story aufzugehen.
Auch hatte ich etwas mehr "Witchy Vibes" erwartet, nachdem es als Hexenbuch beschrieben wird und nachdem ich The Wicked Deep gelesen hatte.
Ich fand auch das Ende etwas vorhersehbar, zumindest einen Teil davon. Bereits ab Seite 30 oder so habe ich gedacht, dass es so ausgehen wird, wie es eben auch ausgegangen ist.
Dennoch eine tolle Unterhaltung für zwischendurch!
