Success in modern day endodontics is based on various principles comprising of diagnosis and treatment planning, knowledge of anatomy and morphology, thorough debridement of the root canal system, mechanical preparation of root canal along with chemical disinfection and three-dimensional obturation, followed by the coronal restoration.
