Dieses schön illustrierte Bilderbuch stellt uns die Nobelpreisträgerin Maria Curie vor. Schon die kleine Marie wollte Forscherin werden. Sie war eine brillante Schülerin und da sie in ihrer Heimat nicht studieren durfte, ging sie nach Paris. Dort studierte sie Physik und lernte ihren späteren Mann kennen. Beide forschten gemeinsam und erhielten den Nobelpreis.
Einfache klare Bilder und ganz kurze Sätze erklären alles genau und deshalb kann man mit diesem Buch eine berühmte Forscherin kleinen Kindern bekannt machen.
Mich fasziniert es sehr, wie die Autorin es schafft alles so unkompliziert zu erklären. Für die, die es genauer wissen wollen, gibt es am Ende eine Doppelseite mit den Lebensdaten von Marie Curie und einigen kleinen Schwarz-weiß-Bildern.
Außer Marie Curie werden noch viele andere bekannte und nicht so bekannte Persönlichkeiten vorgestellt und ich denke, dass es sich lohnt auch andere Bücher dieser Serie zu entdecken.
