i will treasure this book forever. i feel so understood. honest and gut-wrenching, felt so connected to elio and how deeply he feels for those who he cares about, it brought a whole new layer to the film

"Call Me By Your Name" by Andre Aciman is a brilliantly written story of love, finding your soulmate and growing up. You will be absolutely mesmerised by Italian summer setting and the main character's narration, full of anxieties, longing, and passion. It is impossible not to fall in love with this book and remain indifferent to the charming "Later!" If you are looking for some nostalgia, slow burn, beautifully conveyed emotions and "things that matter", CMBYN is the perfect choice!

Wunderschön, poetisch und atmosphärisch; eine Geschichte über Nähe, Sehnsucht, dem Erwachsenwerden und einer Verbindung zweier Menschen, wie sie selten so zu finden ist.

Ich bin so in das Buch verliebt. Liebe & Sommer, eine bessere Kombination für eine Liebesgeschichte gibt es in meinen Augen nicht. Die art wie der Autor geschrieben hat macht das Buch einfach noch besser.

ich habe zuerst den Film gesehen - den fand ich auch herrlich - aber das Buch hat ein letztes Kapitel, das in dem Film nicht erzählt wurde. Jetzt wenn ich so nachdenke, der Regisseur wollte von Hollywood möglichst gut abweichen und wenn er das letzte Kapitel verfilmt hätte, wäre der Movie hollywoody-cheesy gewesen. Gute Entscheidung. (Ich liebe das letzte Kapitel!! I'm not crying, you're crying :) )
