This is what I imagine my essays would look like if I had used a thesaurus to its full extent. An English teacher's greatest fear, probably - but I truly enjoyed reading it. This book marks my very first encounter with Thomas Ligotti and having been introduced to his world as a horror writer, I did not expect to smile (sometimes even laugh) at several of his remarks in "The Conspiracy against the Human Race". And yet I did :)
