Christmas Dinner of Souls

Going in, I literally had no expectations. What drew me to this book was the absolutely stunning illustration on the cover and the title. I wasn’t in the jolly Christmas mood yet, so I needed, wanted something that was themed around the happiest season of the year but not as merry and bright as so many other books. And I found it. The story is fast paced, fascinating, a tiny bit yucky and so, so brilliant. I loved every second of it. I couldn’t put it down and read in the span of two hours. If you need a diversion from all the Christmas lights, this is your pick.
