This story is about Monty, a rich spoiled boy and his way to become a man.
He is allowed one more bit of freedom in the form of a trip to Europe, before he is supposed to take up responsibility. The grand tour was a typical way in the 18th century to close the chapter of youth for rich teenagers. So, Monty is ready to conquer the world with his best friend (and secret crush) Percy and unfortunately his sister too. The three of them are to discover more new things than they could have imagined. And Monty in particular has to change his point of view to imrove his empathy.
The characters are great. I liked them all a lot, even Monty the spoiled brat. I can't remeber when the last time was that I shipped a couple as hard as I did Monty and Percy! Didn't know historic gay/bi romances were my thing, but apparently they are! I'll definitely read the second book in the series. Mackenzi Lee's writing style is so fluent and easy to read.

Dieses Buch hatte einfach alles - ein turbulentes Abenteuert, eine sehr interessante Handlung, liebevoll und glaubwürdig gestaltete Charaktere und nachvollziehbare Charakterentwicklung. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!
