Attica Locke ist für mich eine Neuentdeckung. Sie schreibt nicht nur spannend, sondern auch sprachlich differenziert und nimmt sich eines Themas an, dass leider seit Menschheitsgedenken keine Lösung gefunden hat - Rassismus - was es mit den Menschen macht im kapitalistischen Amerika ( auch andernorts) und dass keiner ungeschoren davon kommt. Eigentlich ein politischer Thriller - mit vielen menschlichen und sympathischen Protagonisten.
