I would rate this book 3.75 stars. It's a sad read, but it's powerful in its own way, as it explores important issues and the resolution of these issues is satisfying. While it's categorized as a YA book, I don't think it will make you cry, but it delivers a strong message: we should embrace our true selves because there are people out there who accept us for who we are, flaws and all.
