Ich bin ein großer Fan von Adam Silvera, was meine Bewertung vielleicht beeinflussen könnte, doch dieses Buch ist mein liebstes von ihm! Ich weinte ab Seite 28 an beinahe durchgängig, doch musste zwischendurch immer wieder lachen und konnte den Schmerz in meiner Brust damit ganz gut ertragen. Es war aber ein positives Empfinden, wenn auch die Tränen Seite um Seite tränkten und nicht stoppen wollten.
Für jemanden, der nah ans Wasser gebaut ist, wie ich es bin, ist es also vielleicht doch eine Überlegung wert, ob man seinen Wasserhaushalt so durcheinander bringen möchte, doch insgesamt kann ich dieses Buch nur empfehlen, wenn man Jugendbücher voll Trauer gerne liest!

Das Buch ist zwar allgemein eher traurig aber dennoch wunderschön. Die Charaktere wachsen einem bis zum Ende des Buches alle ans Herz und man fühlt sich beinahe so als wäre man Teil der Geschichte. Zwar bricht es einem das Herz aber dennoch hat es gewissermaßen auch ein Happy End Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung
