In his analysis and reflection of moral sources of modern agent's identity, language, and different secularization theories, Taylor argues that human agents' search for fulfillment and freedom should not be reduced to some principles of the natural sciences, but open to neglected and undiscovered perspectives of modernity, such as multicultural society, globalization process, and spiritual/religious dimensions. In order to be free, fulfilled, and have a meaningful and flourishing life, no dimension of human existence can be excluded; all dimensions remain to be examined.
