She can't go to prom without a date! With a mission at hand, she goes on a quest to figure out why all of her past relationships haven't worked out. Avery gets to thinking about all her past relationships, and as part of a history project, she dives deep into her own past to compile a complete dating history.
She interviews all of her past boyfriends to try to understand why they broke up. Out of these interviews, and others with her friends and family, things become much clearer and she discovers interesting things about herself.
She also realizes that the person who has been by his side all along is perhaps the right person for her.
