It has been seven years since the events of Shadow Precinct. Seven years since Everett Santeaux aka Myth and his new partner Shef found the whereabouts of The Ark and saw to its destruction, exposing a traitor in their midst in the process. The act made them heroes, and further validated the zealot training program that birthed Everett. New facilities were developed to produce more students. In the time since, Everett has risen to become a member of the Metropolitan Corridor Tribunal, the three highest ranking zealots in the region. With his help, they have created a successful system of arms reduction that the other corridors have emulated.
Relative calm has blanketed the Metropolitan Corridor, allowing Everett to spend more time at home with his wife Simone and their daughter, Chance. The peace is broken when Police Chief Archibald calls for Everett's assistance. A botched robbery unveils a new drug that has been infiltrating the streets of the Metro. The drug, some form of blue powder, gives the user superhuman physical abilities. If more people get a hold of it, it could prove disastrous. Everett agrees to look help Archibald and again partners with Shef, now the head of technological development for all zealots, to find the source of the drug. And it's true power.
