This book was a reminder for me that life is made up of all the small stuff. In today's wold, where your life is seemingly defined by your career, influence and 'worldliness', it was really interesting to read about women whose life most would describe as 'small'. Even when you don’t agree with their values, convictions and ideas about how a life should be, it is still so great to read about how they found happiness and managed to hold on to what made them proud and satisfied about their life. I also truly loved the way this book describes mother-daughter relationships and found it so relateable! Some situations felt taken right out of my own life. If you're looking for a book about normal people, whose lives are heavily marked by the time and society they grew up in, yet still are fullfilling in a time where societal values have heavily shifted, try this one!
