Giardiasis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by the flagellate protozoan Giardia. It is the most common pathogenic parasitic infection in humans worldwide. Owing to its zoonotic implication the present study was planned to study the epidemiological pattern of giardiosis in diarrhoeic bovine calves and dogs and prevalence of giardiosis in humans associated with dogs and calves, also a comparison was made between coproantigen ELISA with conventional diagnostic tests.
