Ich bin mit sehr wenig Vorwissen in diese Trilogie reingegangen und würde das aber auch jedem so empfehlen. Das Setting und die Atmosphäre sind toll und man kann sich wunderbar darauf einlassen, ohne dass es erst ein extrem langes „worldbuilding“ gibt. Die Geschichte zwischen den beiden Protagonisten ist so anders, und am Ende auch zu einer der schönsten Liebesgeschichte geworden, die ich je gelesen habe. Die Geheimnisse und Konflikte führen dazu, dass es in allen drei Bücher spannend bleibt und es somit eine richtig gute Romantasy ist. Für mich auf jeden Fall eine meiner Lieblingsgeschichten, die ich bereits unzählige Male gelesen habe und die immer noch ein fantastisches Erlebnis bleibt!

No reader ever stood a chance. I think it’s physically impossible to finish this book and not immediately search the internet for fanart and posts from fellow supporters. This trilogy is everything you ever wished for in romantasy. The two protagonists are a force to be reckoned with – you won’t be ready for neither them nor the turbulent story that binds them. I laughed, I cried, I gasped at the plot twists and interrupted my reading multiple times to look up at the imaginary camera and grin from ear to ear. I loved this and I will aggressively recommend it to all my friends.
