I enjoyed the trilogy and this was the first book I bought on my own, so I treasure it a lot.
I want to mention that a movie series to another series which takes place in the same world (some beings do not exist, e. g. one of the main characters in the trilogy [actually they do exist with other powers, however, giving more details would spoil both series.]) on the platform Netflix (Shadowhunters: The mortal instruments [you should find it if you search for mortal instruments]).
The story isn't confusing and I haven't found any inconsistencies.
This series takes place in a time in which carriages are still in use, in the other the characters use smartphones (and Magnus Bane shows his charm better).

Ich bin absolut begeistert von den drei Büchern, habe mich total gefesselt und die Liebesbeziehungen sind auch nicht wie von Rosamunde Pilcher, sondern verworrener. Absolut zu empfehlen.
