Discovering Confederation A Canadian's Story

"Janet Ajzenstat has taught a generation of students not only about their own country's constitutional order, but also about the nobility and grandeur of politics. In Discovering Confederationshe moves seamlessly in her discussion between the themes of political philosophy and her own biographical observations. Ajzenstat is a brilliant writer and scholar and this book is an outstanding introduction to Canada and Canadian political science."
