Dr. Minott W. Lewis (1892 1960) was an early disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, the renowned author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi. Dr. Lewis and his wife met Yogananda in 1920 as he arrived from India to attend an international congress of religious leaders convening in Boston. They were among the first to recognize that the young swami was no ordinary teacher.
