Christian makes Rowan a proposition that equally terrifies and is irresistible for her. Ms. Bradley is the newest addition to this reviewer’s auto-buy list, because her book is spell-binding and so steamy hot that it won’t let you go until you reach the last page. You will be sad when you reach that last word, because you don’t want the story to end. Rowan, as well as Christian is an absolutely fascinating character, that will under go quite a development within the story and find aspects in themselves that they never thought possible before. Additionally to Rowan and Christian’s love story there is a second wonderful love story between Rowan’s assistant and the Master of her dreams. This love story is perfectly interwoven with Rowan and Christian’s and it doesn’t disturb the enjoyment of the main love story. The Dark Garden is the perfect book for all fans of BDSM erotic romances. You really shouldn’t miss this book. This reviewer can highly recommend it. "The Dark Garden" is a two way BDSM-love story. First there is mistress Rowan Cassidy, who is well-known as a Domme in her club, but at the same time feels, there is something lacking in her life. But when a new Dom appears and sees her submissive tendencies, he dares her to become his submissive for 30 days. On the other hand there is the story of April, a true submissive, whose acquaintance with the severe Dom Decker, who never plays twice with any submissive, turns into something more profound. While April has to watch her heart to not fall for her wandering Dom, Rowan has to overcome her fears and mistreatments inflicted by her mother and a former boyfriend. Will there be true love for either woman? Although there are other books by Eden Bradley I truly liked, this one could not really convince me. Rowan's problems seemed a little far fetched to me and I could not quite understand and follow her reasoning and feelings. The other characters remained equally shallow in my opinion. So I could not find out why Decker usually plays just once with any girl. The book certainly did not turn out a "must read" in my list of books.
