Dr Manickam Ramalingam is Consultant Urologist at K.G.Hospital & Post Graduate Institute, and G.Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, Coimbatore, India. He has already published a book, Update in Urology for Family Physicians and is a well-known nationally and internationall in laparoscopic urology. He is an eminent urologist who has always been interested in education and training in laparoscopic urology through his various presentations and publications. He has published articles in the Journal of Endourology, International Paediatric Endosurgery Group. His main areas of interest are Endo-Urology, Laparoscopic Urology, Pediatric Urology, and Renal Transplantation (550 Renal Transplants to date). Dr Vipul Patel serves at the Medical Director at the Global Robotics Institute, 410 Celebration Place, Suite 200, Celebration, FL 34747, USA. He has personally performed the most robotic prostatectomies in the world, and is one of only two surgeons to have performed 2,000 robotic procedures. He has utilized his skill and knowledge in this field to train and educate surgeons world wide. He is editor in chief of the Journal of Robotic Surgery and of the first robotic urology textbook, both published with Springer.
