At first, everything looks the same but he feels something is not right with his longtime friend. Everyone begins to act differently and blocks him out. One day Bobbie shows him a strange object in the forest, something huge and of unknown origin, no one knows what it is or what it does. There is one thing Jim, the poet, knows for sure, that thing is responsible for the Havenians’ change. He needs to get out of there before he too gets changed, but this project will be difficult to implement. A fight against time and the townpeople begins, despite the grim outlook Jim Gardener doesn’t give up on bringing his task to success. I’m in awe by how fascinating he writes, even the most horrible parts are written in an interesting lively way you won’t get bored, that I can promise. Don’t get distracted by the large number of pages laying in front of you, just begin to read and enjoy the author’s journey into science fiction. Time will go by in no time, without you even noticing it. Additionally, I liked that the author separated the book into parts which gives more clarity to the story and helps to develop a consistent reading flow. I recommend this book to everyone interested in a good read, especially science fiction/fantasy. Not only Stephen King fans will get their money’s worth.

Is this really a good novel? I'm not so sure about that anymore. When I first read the novel it somehow captivated me, but today it is no longer as captivating. Unfortunately, today it no longer lives up to "It" and "Misery".
