Der vorliegende Band stößt in die Lücke der
strategischen Kompetenzforschung, die den Bereich der Entstehung und Verwertung von organisationalen Kompetenzen betrifft. Zum Zwecke der wissenschaftlichen Beleuchtung der damit verbundenen Fragen werden in den einzelnen Beiträgen dynamische Theorieansätze genutzt, die sich zum großen Teil auf die ressourcen- und kompetenzbasierte Forschung beziehen, zum Teil aber auch auf andere Theoriezugänge (z.B. Komplexitätstheorie, Neue Institutionenökonomie) rekurrieren. Die betriebswirtschaftlichen Teilbereiche sind in unterschiedlicher Weise von Fragen der Kompetenzentstehung und -verwertung betroffen. Dies berücksichtigend werden nach Grundsatzbeiträgen zu den Theoriegrundlagen der Kompetenzforschung die Implikationen für das Personal-, Innovations- und Marketing-Management aus spezifischen Sichtweisen beleuchtet.
The volume intends to fillthe gap of competence research with regard to a general understanding of the development and exploitation of organizational competences. In order to address the questions in this respect, dynamic theories are applied. The theories in use mainly belong to the resource-based and competence-based view. Besides that, the potential of other theories (e.g. complexity theory, new institutional economics) is examined. Developing and exploiting organizational competences is relevant to the areas of business research in different ways. According to that, the papers on basic aspects of the theoretical foundation of competence research are followed by those that focus upon specific topics in the area of human resource management, innovation management, and marketing management.
