Nachdem ich Cinder schon richtig gut fand habe ich beschlossen die Welt weiter zu erkunden! Es ist einfach ein super tolles Setting !!! Der Schreibstil war wieder sehr angenehm zu verfolgen und gleichzeitig war alles schön bildlich beschrieben. Scarlett und Wolf als neue Charaktere sind mir auch schnell ans Herz gewachsen! Deren Dynamik ist einfach wunderbar. Thorne ist auch ein sehr interessanter Charakter. Im Gegensatz zu Cinder fand ich in diesem Buch die Story nicht vorhersehbar und es gab einige twist, welche mich echt überrascht haben! Bin unglaublich auf Cress gespannt und wie alles weiter geht :)

Marissa Meyer has done it again. This time she took "Little Red Riding Hood" and put a new twist on it. Scarlet has lived with her grandmother in the charming little town of Rieux ever since she was a little kid. Now at the age of 18 she finds herself suddenly all alone when her grandmother is abducted by mysterious strangers. When the police prove to be totally useless Scarlet decides to go find her grandmother on her own...with the help of Wolf that is. But is it wise to trust a man you just met hours before? Meanwhile, Cinder breaks out of prison and finds herself on the run. But where to go when not only Queen Levana, but every Earthan and Lunar there is is looking for you? I loved this sequel. At first, I was a little bit confused, because the story started off being all about Scarlet when I so badly needed to know what happened to Cinder, but luckily I didn't have to wait long for her to make an appearance. I love the new characters and the way the two storylines are interwoven in such a clever way. I highly recommend this series to teenagers aged 14 and up. If you do decide to read this series, I recommend you buy all the books at once, because otherwise the cliffhangers at the end of each one might keep you up all night!
