    Super Buch!

    Das graphic novel wunderschön illustriert!! Die Zeichnung sind erstklassig und fangen die Geschichte super ein! Ich würde jedem, der Fan von der Buchreihe ist, empfehlen einen Blick hier rein zu werfen! Ich kann es wirklich nicht genug loben!

    Loved it!

    Maggie did a good job of making this a very spooky, coming out of age books, with teenagers solving crazy mystery and just trying to survive. Obviously, this book is ya, but it was well written and pleasure to read that i can recommend it regardlessly of your age. Fingers crossed for the next book, because that cliffhanger was mean!

    This is a vibes > plot series and i'm all here for it.

    The characters and the mysterious atmosphere were what pulled me in from the first few pages on, especially after getting to know more about each person, slowly but surely. Honestly, it feels a little like the book is teasing the reader at first and then slowly pulls them more and more into its story, like a predator and its pray (but in a good way). The friendships that build throughout the book are so likeable and wholesome and I found myself wishing to be part of their group, to go on adventures along them and look for the hidden secrets of that world. It's definitely a vibe over plot book so it might not be for everyone but I had so much fun reading it and the end made me (first of all, gasp, and) want to continue reading immediately- which I did.

    Blue and her Raven Boys live rent free in my head

    There are psychics and ghosts, very human characters and badass females, magical places and sentient trees... The plot of 'The Raven Boys' is a bit hard to explain but the feeling you get while reading it isn't: It feels like magic is within reach.

    The review refers to the whole series because I read it in one go and can't remember what happened in which part. For me, it is simply a great, bundled masterpiece. A tweet summed it up quite well: „I don't think I'II ever be able to replicate the absolute love and yearning that came with the complete and utter teenage recklessness I felt whilst reading the raven cycle“ aaaand yes, I do feel that. I can't really tell you what these books did to me. This world is so beautifully crafted that you never want to leave and the characters are so dear to me, that I can't stop emphasizing why everyone should read this! You don’t understand the meaning of the found family trope until the raven cycle. || • YA urban fantasy • strong friendships • murder mystery • atmospheric magic • small town

    My favourite book series turned into a graphic novel!?! Amazing!

    I was so excited to have my favourite book series turned into a graphic novel and see all the characters and scenes! I couldn't resist reading the graphic novel back to back with the novel because i just adore the prose so much. But the graphic novel reminded me of how strong the dialogs are as well. They are edgy and funny and clever! I liked to see the storyline drawn together like this. It puts a different perspective and pacing to the story. My friend once said that the raven cycle is too abstract and nebulous for them. So i can see myself recommending the grahic novel to everyone i meet in the future and then lovingly forcing them to read the books as well. Anyway, I really loved to see Gansey and Blue on paper. Their characters were just so perfectly captured! I cant wait to see Blues iconic lampshade dress in the next book!
