El Aleph

Los cuentos son realmente buenos. El Aleph de Borges es definitivamente una de sus obras cumbres con cuentos cortos, relatos consisos, altamente precisos y con una complejidad linguistica considerable. Para mi una obra cumbre de la literatura latinoamericana. El libro en perfectas condiciones!

El Aleph is not a book you read, it’s a book you think through. It’s a collection of short stories that explore big abstract ideas: time, death, memory, identity, infinity. Some stories left me confused, other left me speechless. All of them stayed with me. Borges doesn’t write to entertain, he writes to provoke. His style is dense, layered, and often intimidating… but incredibly rewarding if you let it challenge you. Not everything made sense on the first read. That’s ok. this isn’t a book you “finish”. It’s a book you return to. I’m sure I will.

Ich finde es super, dass ich das Buch in der Originalsprache kriegen konnte. Ich war enttäuscht, als ich gesehen habe, dass es Fiktionen nur auf Englisch gab?! Aber super Autor und tolles Buch
