Christian Science: No and Yes is a book written by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science religion. It was first published in 1887 and is a collection of essays that explore various topics related to Christian Science. The book is divided into two parts: ""No"" and ""Yes.""In the ""No"" section, Eddy addresses common misunderstandings and criticisms of Christian Science. She explains why Christian Science is not a form of mesmerism or hypnosis, and why it is not a form of spiritualism. Eddy also addresses the misconception that Christian Science is anti-medical or anti-scientific.In the ""Yes"" section, Eddy discusses the fundamental principles of Christian Science. She explains the nature of God as infinite, all-powerful, and all-good, and how this understanding can bring healing and transformation to individuals and society. Eddy also explores the role of prayer and the importance of living a moral and spiritual life.Throughout the book, Eddy draws on examples from her own life and the lives of others to illustrate the power of Christian Science to heal physical, mental, and spiritual ailments. Christian Science: No and Yes is a foundational text for anyone interested in understanding the teachings of Christian Science and its approach to healing and spirituality. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
