Bits of Blarney is a collection of humorous stories and anecdotes from Ireland, written by Robert Shelton Mackenzie and originally published in 1855. The book is divided into chapters, each focusing on a different aspect of Irish life and culture, such as superstitions, legends, and customs. Mackenzie's writing style is light-hearted and entertaining, often poking fun at the quirks and idiosyncrasies of Irish people. The stories range from tall tales of leprechauns and banshees to more realistic depictions of everyday life in rural Ireland. Bits of Blarney offers a charming glimpse into the rich folklore and traditions of Ireland, and is a must-read for anyone interested in Irish culture and history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
