Theonis Smyrnaei Philosophi Platonici: Expositio Rerum Mathematicarum Ad Legendum Platonem Utilium is a book written by Theon, a Platonist philosopher from Smyrna, in 1878. The book is an exposition of the mathematical concepts that are useful for reading and understanding Plato's works. Theon provides a detailed analysis of topics such as arithmetic, geometry, and astronomy, and how they relate to Plato's philosophy. The book is written in Greek and is intended for scholars and students of philosophy who are interested in understanding the mathematical underpinnings of Plato's ideas. Theon's work is considered a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of mathematics and philosophy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
