The Wolf Hunters: A Story Of The Buffalo Plains is a novel written by Robert Morris Peck and published in 1914. Set in the American West during the late 1800s, the story follows the adventures of two young men, Jim and Joe, who become wolf hunters in order to make a living on the Great Plains. As they travel across the vast expanse of the buffalo plains, they encounter a variety of challenges and dangers, including hostile Native American tribes, treacherous weather conditions, and vicious wolves. Along the way, they also meet a number of colorful characters, including a grizzled old trapper, a beautiful young woman, and a ruthless outlaw. As they navigate these obstacles, Jim and Joe must rely on their wits and their courage to survive and succeed in their chosen profession. The Wolf Hunters is a thrilling adventure story that captures the spirit of the American West and the rugged individuals who made their living on the frontier. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
