The Taylor Anecdote Book is a collection of anecdotes and letters written by Zachary Taylor, the 12th President of the United States, originally published in 1848. The book provides a unique insight into the life and personality of Taylor, as well as the political and social climate of the mid-19th century. The anecdotes cover a wide range of topics, from Taylor's military career to his personal relationships and experiences as President. The letters included in the book offer a glimpse into Taylor's correspondence with family members, friends, and political figures. Overall, The Taylor Anecdote Book is a fascinating historical document that sheds light on one of America's lesser-known Presidents. With A Brief Life. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
