The New Bantam-Megiddo Hebrew & English Dictionary, Revised

This dictionary is good, but far from perfect. It is only suitable for people with prior knowledge of Hebrew since all words are only given in Hebrew script, but there is no Hebrew alphabet with the corresponding Roman transcription and pronunciation in the introduction, making the book useless for people who cannot read Hebrew already. The words covered are average, i.e. there are many fairly "exotic" words included which one will rarely if ever need, whereas others that ought to be included and which one would frequently need are not included. Therefore, the book is useful only for the advanced learner who can read Hebrew confidently.
